Jim Jones

ISG President

Jim Jones has over 40 years of baseball coaching experience at the youth, high school, college, semi-pro and international (Czech Republic, France, Spain, Holland) levels. He served as assistant coach at Stanford University before becoming head coach at the University of Wyoming and St. Mary’s College(CA). Presently he is retired from teaching and serves as President of International Sports Group, Inc. At the 2006 European Baseball Coaches Association's winter convention, Jim received EBCA's Achievement Award in recognition of his work in European Baseball since the early 1990's.

Jim Lefebvre

Former MLB Manager

Jim Lefebvre played 8 seasons for the LA Dodgers. He won the National League Rookie of the Year in 1965 and was selected for the All Star game a year later. He also won the 1965 World Series.
Jim played in the Nippon Pro League from 1973 to 1976 before returning to the US as a coach.
Jim was a Manager at the Major League level with Seattle Mariners, Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers.£
Jim was also the Manager of China‘s National Team at the 2006 World Baseball Classic and at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Steve Janssen

Rotterdam Neptunus Manager

Steve Janssen was a catcher in the Belgian leagues, beginning his career in 1987 at age 15. He played on 7 national champions in Belgium before retiring in 1997. He then coached in Belgium for two years. From 2000-2002, he coached the DOOR Tridents in Eerste Klasse. He then was pitching coach for DOOR Neptunus through 2005, helping the team win a Holland Series each year he held that job. He was also a pitching coach for the Dutch national team at times from 2002-2005.
In 2006, he was a coach with Neptunus. He was technical director of the Belgian Baseball Federation in 2007. For 2008, he was hired as head coach of Sparta/Feyenoord and led them to a 21-21 record.
In 2009, DOOR Neptunus then brought him back, this time as their head coach and Steve didn’t disappoint, helping the Rotterdam powerhouse to land its first title since 2005, a record tying 12th national crown in the team history.

Vaughn Robinson

MLB Strength and Conditioning Coach

Vaughn Robinson has just completed his second season as a strength and conditioning coach in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.
He is also active in Europe during the Winter as he is working with all the top prospects from the European Academies.

Mauro Mazzotti

Spain National Team manager
Telemarket Rimini Manager

Mauro Mazzotti was born on September 12, 1959 in Cesena, Italy and is the only coach in Italian history to win four championships with three different clubs (Rimini 1999, Bologna 2003/2005, Grosseto 2007).
Between 1994 and 2006 he coordinated the scouting activities of the Seattle Mariners in Europe and works in the same position with the Houston Astros since 2007.
This season, his club team, Telemarket Rimini made it to the IBL play-offs, and finished in first place.
Mauro is currently coaching the Spanish National Team at the World Cup and after qualifying for the second round, also taking care of one of the biggest upsets in the tournament by handing out Venezuela its first loss in the competition.
